R. Pellegrini

Dick Pellegrini brings to Executive Solutions over 40 years of manufacturing, operational, supply chain, and general management experience. His international expertise spans the North American, European, Australian, Japanese, Asian, and Indian markets with emphasis on country-specific general management, strategic marketing, and logistics business issues.

Before joining Executive Solutions, Pellegrini served as vice president and general manager of Bacou-Dalloz’s $120 million industrial eye protection division. Bacou-Dalloz is the largest global manufacturer and distributor of industrial personal protective equipment; its products include a fully integrated, head-to-toe array of industrial personal protection such as hard hats, eye protection, respiratory protection, hearing protection, fall-arrest equipment, fire protective clothing, safety shoes, general apparel, and gloves.

Pellegrini also served as vice president of Bacou-Dalloz’s global supply chain and global operations. In this position, he spearheaded several significant initiatives including global organizational restructurings; European plant consolidations; transition coordination following one of the industry’s largest mergers; and the strategic implementation of two major ERP application platforms in the United States and Europe.

Prior to joining Bacou-Dalloz, Pellegrini held senior-level executive positions, involving national and international responsibility, with Avery Dennison, Matthews International, Irwin Company, Beatrice Foods, and Warner Lambert Corporation. His operations and general management manufacturing career has been broad-based and diversified across many industries including industrial commodity and laser eye protection; commercial stationery products; capital hospital equipments; industrial ink jet and laser printing machinery; and highly specialized, infra-red dye products and applications.

Earning his undergraduate degree at the University of Vermont in pre-med psychology, Pellegrini has completed graduate courses on international marketing and operations at both Harvard and Clark University. He has served on the boards of Applied Technology Development in the United Kingdom and Kentek Corp. in the United States. He currently is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the American Marketing Association, APICS, the American Manufacturers Association, The CEO Place Group, and the Turnaround Management Association.
